The Aviat LNK-W48-18H5-DPH2 is a high-capacity, all-outdoor microwave radio solution designed for 5G backhaul applications. Operating in the 80 GHz E-Band (81-86 GHz) and 18 GHz microwave bands (17.7-18.14 GHz), this platform supports a 10 GHz transmit-receive split, enabling up to 10 Gbps throughput in a single-channel configuration. It features Adaptive Dual-Carrier (A2C+) technology, facilitating dual-channel operation on a single transceiver. The unit supports Layer 1 Link Aggregation (L1LA), enhancing capacity and reliability. Power options include DC and Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a voltage range of ±20 to ±57V, compliant with IEEE 802.3bt standards. The WTM 4800 platform offers a compact design, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) by minimizing equipment and site requirements. It also supports Carrier Ethernet services, including Quality of Service (QoS), VLANs, and IEEE 1588v2 synchronization, with software upgradeability for Layer 3 IP routing and Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS).
