Control C251

In:xtnd Control C251 DPU is a one channel Ethernet over coax access node, capable of 2.5 Gbps broadband services on the RF-port, supporting up to 31 in:xtnd Access modems. It communicates with the Access modems using the MoCA Access 2.5 standard. In:xtnd is your Ethernet over coax fiber access extension for FTTH and FTTB, using the existing coaxial (antenna) cabling to each apartment, room or office. Gigabit broadband access and high quality of service (QoS) at a fraction of the cost of FiberLAN and DocSIS 3.1. No new wiring needs to be installed as in:xtnd uses the existing cables. For cable operators and broadband providers, as well as commercial integrators installing networks for work and entertainment in apartments, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, offices and other buildings.

Installation is easy as there is no need to pull new cables. Plug-in modems are easily installed ensuring minimal operational disturbance. The system can be rolled out in stages, coexist with existing TV solution, upgraded and supported remotely.

You get fiber speed performance all the way from the fiber in the street to the TV outlet. The system is symmetrical, upload is almost as fast as download. It offers low latency (delay) that may prove vital in gaming, IoT and Smart Building applications.

By coexisting with present terrestrial, cable and satellite-TV technologies, the network can be upgraded in stages (great CAPEX ratio). Fiber operators get better payback on investments due to higher subscriber uptake, while system owners experience a smart system with short time to revenue. The re-use of existing cables makes it the sustainable choice.
